Don’t store bread on your kitchen countertops
It might seem like a good idea to put your bread slices there, but that’s a mistake. In the troposphere, bread dries out more easily or molds much faster, depending on the humidity. You can store your bread in a box, bread box, cookie jar, or in the refrigerator, as long as you don’t mind it being a little denser.

Knives
I used to keep my knife rack on the counter, where on earth would I have kept them? But those racks take up a lot of valuable space and are not as hygienic. Crumbs and grease tend to accumulate in the crevices of the knives over time. Here’s what I suggest: magnetic strips on the wall or some kind of box to keep knives where they belong and off the counter. Small appliances that aren’t used every day Toasters, food processors, deep fryers and all that… If you don’t use them every day, they shouldn’t be kept on the counter. Storing them in a cupboard will instantly make your kitchen look better. I leave my coffee maker on the counter because I use it every day. Everything else goes away.
